FRIDAY FLOWERS: IN THE KITCHEN

It's a flower...sort of.
And it's definitely in the kitchen!
It's the new Lily Pad Silicone Lid.
There SO many shops on line where you can find these but very few showed them in all colors and sizes. I found them locally at KitchenWorks in Chapel Hill.

Yes, they actually cling to glass, plastic, melamine and stainless steel. They can go in the microwave, dishwasher and even the oven. No more Saran wrap that never works anyway.
Note the tiny vent holes in the center of the flower: perfect for microwave!

I tested one this evening in the microwave and it was just perfect. No mess, no plastic wrap, no paper towels.
Watch this video and you will be convinced!

Now, that was an interesting Friday Flower post, wasn't it?

  1. Hi, Libby - Where have I been? I've not seen these clever covers. Nor heard of them. Thanks for sharing.

  3. I use an orange silicons shield but not as cute as this one. I used to do Friday Flowers on my blog too but not lately.
