WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR CAN MAKE



It was one year ago that we moved down to North Carolina.
The day the truck showed up at our old house, in the Hudson Valley, it was snowing, sleeting and icing.

Ah, but yes, the ice and sleet followed us down here! The drive down was sunny and nice, but the move in day was more of the same. Our neighbors here were none too happy that we brought with us this awful scene!























At least it did make for excellent photo ops!



And this was my morning walk today. Quite a change.

  2. Those photos are fantastic! I was raised Norther CA with Herefords, Angus and Charolais - I've not seen cows like that - neat! Learn something new every day!

  3. ah...i love north carolina! it is at the top of my list of places to return to. i live there for a year and a half before i got married, and dream about moving back there someday. i can't believe that ice storm! so pretty, but crazy/dangerous!!

  5. What beautiful photographs! I'm not sure if I asked you this before but what part of NC did you move to? Im in the Wesley Chapel, Waxhaw area in South Charlotte and just love it here - and I don't miss the snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
