I've become sort of obsessed with lighting.
You remember my post of last week about lighting?
I had never really focused on lights or lighting; in our old house they just...existed. No big deal. Nothing very creative going on there! But here, wow! it's fun to see the possibilities.
How about these from...where else...Anthropologie. Cute, cute.....
This shade is extraordinary. and at just $98 it's all possible!
I'm crazy about this one: as I'm also deep into orange accessories!
From a new(to me) source: BoConcepts. More orange.
Another from BoConcept that can be used as either table or wall light:
And back to Anthropologie with a look toward spring!
Somehow it doesn't matter to me what the new trends are in lighting; I'm having fun exploring new sites and seeing the new possibilities!

Love seeing all your lighting possibilities....there are just no stores in NC that have much of anything except traditional. Saw a lamp in the Saint Tropez market yesterday that I wanted so badly....too hard to get to NC...Keep showing us all your finds!!!
ReplyDeleteYou showed some fun choices. The fixture with multiple hanging bulbs is a work of art! I would run out to buy it if I had an appropriate space. The previous one of coffee pot is interesting but almost disconcerting. I might have nightmares of someone spilling hot, illuminated coffee from above! JSS
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by the "Back Porch".
ReplyDeleteWe are certainly enjoying our new gray rooms. I loved seeing the evolution of your study. Wonderful idea.
I've been looking through lighting quite a bit lately, too. Lots to see.
Thank you for Following/Friending my blog.
Mary: There is a really great lighting store here in Chapel Hill! I heard some people in there from Pinehurst, so come on over! They are, by far, the best around. Let me know and I'll give you the name and address. Where are you now? Here or Provence?
ReplyDeleteHey Jas: Thanks for the comment! Yes, well, guess you can't have it near bed or table!
ReplyDeleteThese are all great but the cocoa brown lamp shade embellished with flowers has me inspired to make my own. Love it.
