Oh my goodness...FIGS!!!! i have been sick as a dog, first a spider bite which swelled my foot to the size of a watermelon then the flu. Oy vey! so i didnt get here until today. Love that apt! is it nice inside? 18th century, hope updated! bring lots of photos. im sooooooo jealous!!!!

ReplyDeleteMichele: No, we really weren't affected by the strikes: just didn't do the Metro that day.
ReplyDeleteIt's been just so gorgeous: this is, once again, the time of year to be here. We actually took the Batobus (!) today and enjoyed it: nice and sunny and restful for the feet!
Lindaraxa: No, actually the building is 1640!!!! I have a pic of the plaque out front and will post eventually. It's the marble stairs that are so worn that you really notice!

ReplyDeleteIt was wonderful to meet you at the blogger meet, though it seemed so brief. Sounds like you are enjoying your extended stay and looks like a great location. Those figs are reminding me of the most fabulous fig dessert I had one night.........and I need to forget all those and go on a carb and sugar free menu for at least a few weeks. Enjoy your stay and I bet the weather is still beautiful. Were we lucky? XO
